The End of Us is a short screenplay I originally wrote as a part of the 2020 NYC Midnight Short Screenplay Challenge, Round 1. The prompt I got for the script was writing a romance with the main location being a rooftop, and an object of interest being a picnic basket. The original screenplay was 5 pages and I wrote it within the contest's deadline of 2 days. The screenplay was award 6th place in my group of about 35 people with the same prompt.
Since then I did a rewrite and expanded it to 7 pages, and then entered it in screenplay contests detailed below.
Logline: Life, Death, and a dying cat. At the end of the world, two near-immortals face their reality.
